Good Morning!
Some weeks ago I gave a presentation at the YMCA on how to keep an exercise program going when injured, and it was a great success. I worked hard on this presentation, and was concerned that the people who signed up for it wouldn't like it. They loved it. They have contacted the YMCA and asked for me to talk more on other subjects for seniors.I'm meeting with the person who books the dates and I'm looking forward to discussing some of the other ideas I have for presentation subjects. She asked me if I would be willing to speak at other YMCA's and I told her that I'd love to. Bring it on!I'm excited to develop my speaking career! I am a dynamic public speaker and it's not like work. I love to see people benefit by my words. What an amazing adventure!

This is a fabulous day!
It's been some time since I last used this blog. No matter, because here I am back and ready to share and have fun.
So much has happened, I hardly know where to start. Enough for now, I think, to ay hello and that I've missed you and I'll post post again soon some interesting information for seniors, and younger people too.
I'll organize my thoughts and be formulating something to share in the next few days.

TIMING IS EVERYTHING....
Many things have transpired since my last post - it feels right to be posting something new at last!
I have a pocket of time - 20 minutes - and will talk about as much as I am able to in that time-frame.
So the last time I posted was early December 2010. Thank God that year has gone! It was not the best year for me at all.
The year finished up with me having a terrible auto "hit and run" accident when I was travelling up to spend the holidays with my family. It was pouring with rain - had started two hours before - and visibility was bad. I was in the 3rd lane and a truck came up to my right side, attempted to come into my lane, and clipped me. I lost control of my car when his truck clipped me and careened across the freeway like a mad thing. My car smashed into the concrete middle divider, and careened back across the freeway fromn the impact. I ended up on the shoulder, facing the right way.
It was a miracle no other car hit me. It was a miracle I didn't hit another car. The cars all waited. A miracle. The most blessed miracle of all was that except for a bruised right breast from the tightness of the seat belt,I was unharmed! Both seen and unseen Angels surrounded me and helped me - the paramedics who left when they saw I was fine, the darling couple who stopped and remarked on how calm I was, and Officer Matthews of the Highway Patrol who was so kind to me I will never forget him - a seen Angel.
When things happen to me, both good things and bad things, I always look for the lesson. This accident was no different.
I will write more about the lessons I learned in my next post.
